phone, the application won't work as the Registration of the
application is done on the IMEI number of your handset.

registered in our database. In case of any problems with our
application your details will be used to validate your

- What format do I use for entering the D.O.B?

You can use either hyphen [-] or Slash [/] format for entering
your Date of Birth.
For Example: DD-MM-YYYY or DD/MM/YYYY.
- From where can I get the Scratch Code?

You get the 10 digit scratch code along with your Mobicop
Welcome-kit.
- Will I be charged for the SMS for this registration?

Yes, you will be charged with normal SMS charges as per your
service providers plan.
- How do I know that I have been registered successfully?

Once you're registered, automatically the register option
disappears from the application.
- I do not see any Icons in My Phone after the Application gets installed?

As it is a hidden application and only can be seen after the
default password or the changed password is entered on your phone
screen.

You can change your default password from the control

- I want to have a 3-digit Password?

It is not possible to choose a 3 digit password. A 4-digit
password is mandatory and the only acceptable format by the Mobicop
application.
- What happens if the SIM Change Attack option is disabled?

Monitoring process of this application works only if the option
is enabled.
- Why Should I keep the “Lock Screen & Keypad” option Enabled?

If the option is enabled, as soon as the SIM is changed your
phone will get locked with the white screen with the default or
customized text on it. Automatically the keypad will get locked AND
your phone goes in an Attack mode where the USER / THIEF won't be
able to use your phone.
- What will happen if I keep the “Lock Screen & Keypad” option disabled?

If the option is disabled and if the SIM card is changed, the
phone will not automatically go into ATTACK mode and the USER /
THIEF will be able to use your phone.
- What if the User/thief inserts another SIM Card after removing the 1st SIM Card?

As both the new SIM cards will be unknown to Mobicop, it will go
in the Attack mode automatically.
- What if I want to insert another SIM Card and do not want the phone to go in the Attack mode?

Before changing the SIM card, you first need to disable the SIM
change option. Then change the SIM card. Alternatively, after you
enter the new SIM card enter the default or changed password
<#*1234> and the new SIM automatically gets registered as a
Whitelist entry.
- What do I do when I have inserted my New SIM Card without SIM entry?

You need to open Mobicop by using the default password as per
the version. Then the system will store your new SIM entry.
- What if the registered SIM Card is inserted by the User/thief?

As the registered SIM card is inserted in your phone, once again
it will come to the normal Mode and you can easily monitor the
User/thief by giving him/her call on your Mobile Number. If you
want your lost phone to be in the ATTACK mode, then SMS FULL ATTACK

- Do I need to enable all Hide options or can I enable any of the Hide options?

You can specify any timeframe but it will be in seconds.

It is a mode where your phone gets locked with the default "Lock
Screen text / customized text" along with the specified Secondary
numbers to be called as set by the user. Also the Siren as
specified in "Siren on Lock Screen" setting will be played.
Automatically the keypad gets locked and your phone goes in this
mode where the USER / THIEF won't be able to use the phone.
- What details will I get through SMS about my Stolen Phone?

You will get the following details on the specified secondary
numbers:
1. IMSI Number:- IMSI Number is Related SIM Number
2. IMEI Number: - Handset Device Serial Number.
3. Network: - Defines the Cellular Service Provider.

If you are an authorized user of the phone and know your Mobicop
password, you will be able to enter your password and unlock the
screen, however any unauthorized users will only be able to press
the left option button which will show a list of Emergency numbers
and three Secondary numbers. These will be the only numbers that
can be called from the phone that has a LOCKED screen.
